MEDITATIONS is a series of personal writings by Marcus Aurelius, Roman Emperor from 161 to 180 AD, recording his private notes to himself and ideas on Stoic philosophy.
Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius wrote his Meditations as a means of guidance and self-improvement almost 2000 years ago. Aurelius never meant for the text to be published as it was only meant as tool for himself.
