Thank You, Jeeves is the first novel to feature the incomparable valet Jeeves and his hapless charge Bertie Wooster, although within page, Jeeves quits on account of Bertie's disastrous banjo-playing. In high dudgeon, Bertie disappears to the country as a guest of his chum Lord "Chuffy" Chuffnell, who naturally employs the services of the recently resigned Jeeves.
