Summary : Studio 360: Alec Baldwin, Linney, Karr

Kurt went all the way to South America and all we got was this awesome guest host? In between presenting the Oscars and wrapping up a season of NBC's 30 Rock, Alec Baldwin joins Studio 360 as our host for this week's show.

Next, Laura Linney starred in the indie film gems, You Can Count on Me, and The Savages, but her first love is the theater. This weekend she wraps up her Broadway appearance as an injured war photographer in Donald Margulies's Time Stands Still. In her conversation with Alec Baldwin, she reveals the joys and heartbreaks that come with being a full-time actor. Linney also talks about her upcoming role as a woman with cancer in the new Showtime series, "The Big C."

Then, David Ellis Dickerson cut his teeth as a greeting card writer at Hallmark HQ. Now he specializes in custom greeting cards for difficult situations, such as a September 11th birthday and an apology for breaking a friend's toilet at a party.

Finally, Mary Karr's new book, Lit, is the third in a series of memoirs. She tells Alec Baldwin about getting to the truth in her writing. She also talks about recovering from alcoholism and developing a spiritual life, and reads from her poem, "Chosen Blindness." [Broadcast Date: March 27, 2010]
